Joe has considerable experience advising clients in financial distress, having guided stakeholders through successful restructuring assignments on both a solvent and insolvent basis.
Having worked with both corporate and not-for-profit organisations across a broad spectrum of sectors, Joe has acted as an advisor for a number of secured lenders undertaking cash flow monitoring, due diligence and business review assignments. Recent advisory projects include supporting a local authority where CBW’s role was to carry out viability assessments of applicants to a grant scheme.
As a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Joe takes all form of insolvency appointments and advises stakeholders in relation to winding down operations and placing corporate vehicles into voluntary liquidation (either solvent or insolvent).
Joe is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA). He sits on the Board of Directors of the IPA and holds the role of Chair of its External Affairs and Member Services Committee. Additionally, as an Approved Practitioner Joe works closely with the Charity Commission and is instrumental to this relationship.
Joe joined CBW in 2018, having previously started his career in 2006 at one of the UK’s largest insolvency and restructuring practices.
